Professor Chiyori Haga
Overview:

Lifestyle diseases have long been a health challenge in Japan and worldwide, and we have yet to find definitive solutions. Recognizing the difficulty of changing adult lifestyle habits and the possibility that the origins of lifestyle diseases may be established during fetal development, my research focuses on health promotion starting from childhood. By merging nursing with a patient-centered approach and public health that can bring about societal transformation, I aim to create a society where people can live happily. I look forward to welcoming like-minded individuals who share this lofty aspiration and can learn together.

Are you interested in becoming a public health nurse?

A public health nurse is a profession that requires understanding the environment and culture of the community where we live, as well as the ability to identify the desires of the people living there and the community issues they may not be aware of. Additionally, public health nurses can support people throughout their entire lives as part of the nursing profession. Furthermore, they support residents by harnessing their power and helping them take the lead in finding solutions to these problems. Let's aim to become public health nurses together!
