- Elucidation of the molecular basis of metabolic diseases, including diabetes- and obesity-related disorders, and development of therapeutic and drug discovery platforms (targeting membrane receptors such as AdipoR and lipid metabolic enzymes including PLAAT family proteins)
- Exploration of dietary and nutritional strategies that contribute to healthy longevity
- Development of novel exercise biomarkers utilizing AI and wearable devices
