Current Research Projects

The department of Community Medical Care was established in April 2019 by the donation from Kagawa Prefecture. In the eastern region of Kagawa Prefecture, the number of physicians relative to the population is relatively low due to the uneven distribution of regional physicians. Under these circumstances, Kagawa Prefecture has planned to rebuild the medical care system in these areas and strengthen the functions of public hospitals based on the prefecture's own plan for the future medical system.
Our department aims to support these issues. Members are also teachers in the Kagawa University Internal Medicine Clinical Course and are actively engaged in research activities in their respective specialized fields. Staff members are also faculty members of the Clinical Department of Gastroenterology and Nephrology at Kagawa University, and are actively engaged in research activities in their respective fields of expertise.
