令和７年１２月２日（火曜日）に医学部臨床講義棟２階講義室で開催された「令和７年度 第４回（通算 第３９回）香川大学医学部リサーチ・クロストーク」において、大学院医学系研究科看護学専攻の大学院生、PASANG WANGMOさんが優れた学術成果を発表され、西山医学部長より「Best Presentation Award」が贈呈されました。
今回受賞となりました研究発表演題及び概要等は次のとおりです。

演者：PASANG WANGMO（大学院医学系研究科看護学専攻 大学院生）
演題：Assessment of midwifery competency and associated factors among nurse-midwives in Bhutan.
概要：Midwives play a key role in improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. In Bhutan,midwifery education is limited to a six-month nursing module, falling short of international standards. To clarify the current situation, a nationwide survey was conducted among nurse-midwives working in hospitals. This study introduces the findings on their self-assessed competencies and discusses future directions for strengthening midwifery education and practice in Bhutan.
